Support Worker

Kingswood

£10 - £20 per hour + £500 Welcome Bonus
Full Time and Part Time roles available in Kingswood, Bristol

As a Support Worker, you will work directly with the people our client supports on daily activities, personal care, and other aspects of physical and emotional support to help them live independently, both in the community and in their home, which may also be shared by others.

Whether you are new to care or have worked in Support Worker roles for many years, we are interested in you as an individual and whether you share our values, as we can help you learn the rest.

Estimated Support Worker Shifts Include:
• Earlies (07:00-14:30)
• Middles (10:00-17:00)
• Lates (14:00-21:30)
• Waking nights (21:00-07:15)

Accountabilities As A Support Worker:
• Aid the administration of medication and specialist interventions in line with a person’s support plan
• Assistance in personal care as required
• Complete written documentation, including support plans and daily records
• Effective communication with stakeholders, professionals and family members
• Follow all policies, procedures, support plans, risk assessments and safe systems of work
• Help maintain relationships and friendships
• To monitor the health, wellbeing and psychological and emotional needs of people you support

• A positive commitment to the values and ethos of the organisation
• An understanding of and commitment to confidentiality
• Educated to GCSE Level A-C or equivalent in Maths and English
• Have a caring manner and a tolerant nature, be dependable, cheerful, patient and kind
• Willingness to be flexible, adaptable and responsive to change
