Live-in Carer

Care experience is required for this challenging role. This position is also subject to enhanced disclosure under the DBS.

Primary Responsibilities:
• To pay visits to nominated Service Users as directed by Care Coordinators and management
• Personal Care (as specified on the care plan and subject to appropriate review)
• Maintain the cleanliness of Service Users' homes as directed in order to meet health and safety requirements
• Actively encourage Service Users to participate in all aspects of daily living activities, based on their abilities
• Maintain accurate, legible records as needed and submit them to the manager on a regular basis

Desirable criteria for a live-in carer:
• A high level of patience and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Be friendly, sensitive and tactful approach
• Excellent communication (At least Limited Working Proficiency in English)
• Have a committed, responsible and flexible attitude
• Some Health and social care experience is preferred with a good knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene standards
