As a care provider, you can work with disadvantaged people to help them live their lives to the fullest. It's the ultimate 'people's work.' You're the lifeline of another human being, and you're often the only professional with whom some kind of relationship can be formed.

Your daily schedule can be as diverse as the needs of the people you're looking for. You also help people wash and dress, eat and drink, and do their daily activities. You may be cooking for them or shopping for them or just hoisting them in a more comfortable position in bed.

Previous experience with care is not necessary as complete training is provided. There is however, excellent communication and interpersonal knowledge and the ability to develop a strong working relationship.

You will be kind and caring and willing to work in an organisation where you can really make a difference in the lives of people who need help.
