Care Champion

Our client is actively employing a part-time support worker to work at their home care facility in High Wycombe.

As a carer you can provide intensive support for all facets of daily life in order to promote their independence and enable them to lead the most rewarding life possible, including therapeutic and social activities. You need to be resilient, versatile and structured in your approach, as this is going to be a demanding, yet equally rewarding, working environment. You will recognise the value of reflective practice and will be active in debriefing and event analysis to ensure the best possible results for individuals.

While not necessarily two days are the same, you can help people we serve with day-to-day problems such as personal care, food planning, home care, medications, fitness meetings, relationships, and hobbies. Essentially, encouraging them to carry out the jobs, duties and hobbies that most people take for granted, but which are meaningful to the people we support.
That's why we're looking for a person with previous experience who can hit the ground running. However we will continue to have a full training programme tailored to the needs of the individuals we support.
