Care Worker - (Brentwood)

We are looking for a Part-Time Care Assistant to join their ‘CQC Outstanding' and enthusiastic team in Brentwood. If you are looking for a zero-hour contract that could lead to a guaranteed average hour contract with a variety of fixed schedules, then please apply.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home. These rewarding duties can include:

Home Help - Prescription collection, light housekeeping, checking food expiration dates, pet care, home maintenance, shopping.

Companionship - Encourage conversation, provide reminders for medication, encourage activities such as walking, hobbies, and diet and eating monitoring.

Dementia care - Assist with morning and evening wake-up calls, dressing and bathing, eating, drinking, and medication reminders.

Personal Care - Providing medication reminders, bathing, dressing, and grooming - please note that some duties are light personal care and may entail nothing more than being present to reassure rather than actually performing personal care.

It is not necessary to have prior care experience or specific qualifications to work as a care assistant in this position. Skills from other industries, such as hospitality, retail, the arts, and travel, would be considered. Personal experience caring for a family member or volunteer experience, on the other hand, would be advantageous. Additionally, being able to drive and having access to your own vehicle will help you succeed in this role.
